In today’s age of ever-present multimedia, people are very rarely truly away from their day-to-day concerns.

As a result, minds can be insufficiently focussed on the key issues. It is for this reason that when going off-site, you should really consider not just being ‘out-of-sight’ but also being ‘out of reach’. That doesn’t mean a total lack of information on what is going on outside (there are easy ways to manage that), but should certainly guarantee significant quality time to listen, discuss and decide. And what better place to have that quality time than in a nice and inspiring environment, with ‘somewhere really special’ by no means also meaning ‘somewhere really expensive’.
